CLOSING DAY is on Saturday, October 15, 2011. We meet in the clubhouse around 9 for coffee and doughnuts to get our blood flowing. All of the boats are brought up off of the beach and prepared for the winter: masts removed, hulls stored and covered. The power boats also are brought off the water and put to bed. The dock and raft are taken in - a true demonstration of 'many hands make light work'. The clubhouse is organized, cleaned and swept. The beach is cleaned. Every pair of hands makes a true difference to the team effort. When the work is all done, we sit on the deck one last time and enjoy hot chili with our fellow KSCers and toast another great season!
